35 717’s are parked. Delta wants to permanently replace them with the E175’s.
The C-series isn’t replacing them? Abhorred because they felt the vote left them with only bad options to vote on, or because the vote for the E-jets failed and a judge used his BK authority to overturn the failed vote?

I am only asking because I don’t know. Also if the C-series isn’t replacing them, is that referring to the pre-covid plan or post covid plan?

220 is not replacing the 717.

The 220-300 has 125 seats....same as our 737-700 and A-319’s, with a 20% fuel savings.

What about the 220-100? Doesn’t that replace the 717 seating capacity?

I heard they weren't getting nearly that many.

60+? yeah, no. It was maybe 40. And right now they are doing maybe 20-30, and planning to do up to 48 a month (12/class starting a class every week)

A flow won’t happen. Better progression (improved DGI or similar) might.

It was right around 55/mo when I hired on. My Initial class had 28, of which 2 washed out, and we were running class dates every 2 weeks...

6 months before covid we were about 45 a month. I had 18 in my class. Hoping it gets back up to there soon. From the last 2 class pics it looks like only 21 people since March have finished ground school.

Maybe 40 cause that’s who was showing up to class. In 2017 they were doing 60 a month easy.

2016 to 2017 was 60 a month. I didn't pay much attention after that other then hearing from the training department they fell apart above that.

Basically what I was saying is yes we can trying to 40+ a month to DL. Will we get it? Only the guys behind closed doors can answer that.

20 per month or so is far more likely.
