It's false advertising without directly lying. They'll be "eligible" by the definition of meeting the requirements of the LOA (24 mos as CA). There's no way they will actually flow in 24 mos, since their seniority number has to be up. Since DL is only taking 25 9E pilots per month, and we have about 1950 pilots, the new guys can (hopefully) do the math.

Depends on which base you’re at. NYC gets the most flying, reserve there gets used a lot. Kind of a crapshoot though… Don’t expect to get above min credit anywhere, 25-50 seems normal. Captains on reserve fly a lot more.

But Captains aren’t on reserve for more that a month or two - unless you bid for it.

Well it isn’t a seniority match just so we are clear. It is longevity only, so yes pay scale and vacation are based on longevity. We all get the same amount of sick accrual every year.

Ok thanks, understand , I worded that wrong. I understood it as company longevity not bidding seniority etc. just curious if it was the whole package or just pay rate. thank you very much for the reply

200 FOs on reserve in DTW or even MSP are getting fewer than 10 hours a month. If you get new hired on the 200, its a death sentence.
