Remember, this is the time of year people were given classes for when they applied 6 months ago. I know 2 pilots given classes near this time, who elected to go to PSA and Republic because they got classes last fall. I also doubt they called Endeavor to cancel the class date here. This likely happened with many others as well.

and the last goal I heard was 70/month. Falling well short on that it appears.

No, and we don't have the LCPs either

So with 200s going to the desert, going down to one deuce sim, and now perhaps more 900s, is the plan to address future shortages going down to all 7/9? Replace the deuces with a dozen or perhaps more if they can get the OO 9s?

Replacing deuces with nines, does not dramatically address the staffing issue. It's not about seats in the back. It's about scheduled departures.

I know six months ago they had a very ambitious target of 100 a month. Now it’s down to 70 a month and dropping.

With Delta saying they're going to bring back more 717's, it sort of does. 2 flights on a 900 is more seats than 3 on a 200, reduce frequency, you need fewer pilots for the same seats in a market. ATL 900 flying will shift more and more to the 717, 900 starts picking up 200 flying. It doesn't solve it, but it makes it easier to deal with.

The 200’s aren’t done yet. The couple that went to the dessert were not worth a heavy check. Remember we pulled multiple OO birds out to trickle in as we send a few to the dessert. The 200 is also adequately staffed or
slightly over staffed. Scheduled reductions in the 200 fleet are “suppose” to start in 2027.

200 is definitely not over staffed on the captain side.

Fair. The FO side looks to be over staffed.

The deuces solve frequency issues in low volume connections. If not, that plane would have been gone decades ago.
