I have some questions about training pay. Do you get paid 75hrs total after completion, or are you paid for however many weeks it takes to finish training? And as far as the completion bonus, isn’t that $5000 after completion of training and the other $5000 after year 1?

You make a salary of 75 hours a month regardless of how long it takes you to finish training. It’s around $4000 a month pre-tax.

The bonus is $10,000 upon completion of OE.

How soon do new hires get their KCM badge?

Is there a test at the end of the CTP course? I'm wondering if studying Sheppard Air during class is possible or if I'll need to take notes on the CTP material being presented. Also, what do people do for lunch at CAE Dallas? Is there a cafeteria?

You get KCM day 2 I believe. There is a test at the end of CTP, buts it’s a joke

Cooperate to graduate. I hear the "test" is more of a group project.

This is an important and very un-intuitive concept. Sheppard is prep for the ATP written exam. The CTP is required before taking said exam. The CTP is not, in any way/shape/form, preparation for or a review of the material on, the ATP written exam. It's like spin training for CFI ... gotta do it, check the box and move on. (Fortunately the ATP written is not hard)

Once you finish ATP-CTP, you're on your own to schedule your own ATP written wherever you live, correct? Any reason it wouldn't be feasible to take a vacation between ATP-CTP and your initial class date, so long as you get your ATP written done?

No, however the time between CTP and the start of class is usually just a few days and they require you to have your written complete before day one of class
