Does Endeavor have enough simulators for the number they would like to train?

The msp 200 sim is or will be offline soon for a few months. They seem to be ok on 900 sims.

Glad to hear Endeavor will have plenty of 900 sim capacity for all those they will have to train later this year. They will be losing, by many estimates, 60+ a month. Looks like it is going to be a long hard road.

Default SKW or EDV

Happy New Year APC,

My EDV class date is 4 weeks earlier than SKW, however, I will be residing in CA with my partner (no kids).

Is it sustainable to drive 3ish hours to LAX and commute to a EDV base? Or two-leg-it from KSBP?

Delta flights out of LAX and length of flight:

11 ATL A321/A350/B757 0400
7 NYC B767 0530
6 MSP B757/A321/B737 0330
5 DTW B757/A321 0415
1 CVG A321 0400

Seeking words of wisdom, thanks in advance!

Yuck, that sounds terrible. But for now at least Delta provides positive space. Until November, I think. So definitely doable.

Absolutely do not do this. Is it doable? Yes if you had to. But you have a class date a month later that would make it so you don’t have to. Go to Skywest! The number one factor in choosing a regional should be the bases. Skywest isn’t a bad place to be, and it definitely sounds right for your circumstance.

You're gonna hate life if you're commuting across the country to a regional. Go skywest instead. Not worth coming here and doing that commute.

Is it do able..yes. Will it be miserable...yes.

Only way I would even consider it is if I lived 30 min from lax

If you like your partner and actually want to see them, no it is not sustainable. If you hate them and want to avoid their presence, 9E might be a good fit.

Seriously, live in base if you can. If you can't, seek the shortest, easiest commute with the most options (flights) you can

Do you want to be a salty captain one day? This commute would make you salty really quickly. OO is the way to go for you.
