Didn’t they pay a few Billion for Comair ? Their demise overall stemmed from the bitterness and revenge of the 01’ strike . In 09’ there were plenty of excess regionals around and plenty of excess pilots. Completely different scenario now, not even close to the same and not even close to the same bitter relationship between Delta and Comair versus Endeavor and Delta.

Yep. And now Sun Country is hiring 1500hr CFIs promising then A330 CA in less time than a new hire here can follow to Delta. I question why anyone would bother showing up to a class date here anymore...

Comair was shut down because they went on strike for almost 3 months and held out for a seniority integration and turned down a staple… If we act like y’all did back then, then we could be Comaired! Comair was owned but not operated daily the way they do us..Every department is run by DAL management.. We’re a small department Down the hall next to Maintenance. We’ve had atleast 4 CEOs that were Employees of Delta including current one… Anything is possible but not likely to be Comaired!! Stop the fear mongering.. Just show me the Money!!!
