No legacy is really in a position to just can one of their regional partners. Taking away planes from Republic would actually benefit AA and United as they'd be able to provide more lift and directly Delta would lose regional lift as Endeavor doesn't have enough staffing to take on anymore flying.

It's pretty hard to figure out what Delta can and can't do in regards to their regional lift. And also, doesn't Delta have a pretty large steak in Republic?
