Why is Endeavor confirmed to be at the FAPA job fair in Chicago? They hiring already?

Well it's gonna be pay for training... They figure that since were now owned by Delta they can get about 30K for training paid back over 10 years and when you upgrade at year 11 it should be square by then.
Then you'll be SSP material and on your way to the double breasted dream.

Why would an airline that is suppose to lose over 100 airplanes by the end of 2014 be hiring? And what is their pitch going to be to get pilots to accept a job? Any new hire, at best, is going to be on eternal reserve but more than likely they are just temporary workers until being furloughed in the next 1-2 years. This company really backed themselves into a corner, at what point is Delta just going to give up?

Why would anyone go to Bendover when GoJets is offering so much better a deal?

Cautious optimist here, but there could be a revised fleet plan by years end...there's lots of chatter about that. Also, Endeavor was at the recent Riddle Career Expo and numbers were circulating of wanting to attract 100-200 new hires beginning Q1 2014. It's all rumor though so we know how that goes.
