But the hotel and training part is true. You have to pay 10k for upgrade, 3 year training contract.

And don't forget no per diem.

And 5 days off a month.

Oh and we pay for the overnight hotels......

10k for upgrade and 3 yr training contract? Where?

Only 1/2 for the overnight hotels though. On the plus side, we can pick up trips for 50% pay to ease the pain

I wasn't kidding. I don't know any place that requires you to pay for upgrade and hotels associated with that. Once hired onto a company, those costs are covered. Of course 9E got away with giving pilots a hotel and pay in training for a long time because they were considered contractors and not full employees until passing their sim checkride. And to this day they still feel the hit when 9L/XJ peeps get their payraises on class date and 9E on sim date. Another BS item that the union "couldn't fight and obtain."

At least we get 1 hour per day guarantee.

Too bad if we get our trip canceled we lose all that money.

Pinnacle. Apparently you haven't been keeping up with LOA's. The newest kicker, that I heard from the cousin of a friend of an XJT fo, is that Pinnacle also now charges you for any extra sim time you need to complete initial or upgrade or warm up for a previously busted PC/type ride. You guys are idiots for letting them do that.

mooney!!!!

And I heard that ALPA and Airline managements like our contract so much that there is no more voting at the regional level.

They are just going to impose our contract on all Regional carriers without the pilots getting a vote.

Why would they need to impose it? Any regional ALPA carrier that crap contracts have come out for a vote at have passed anyway!
