Absolutely talk to the base manager/ CP. they will most likely start by having you obviously tyr bidding for the days off/swapping or dropping RSV days/ etc. They are willing to work with you for one time events such as weddings but it often depends on RSV coverage and other factors.

If you're already on the 200 and based in NYC, I would always bid to whichever is more junior. You're already commuting probably, so why not commute to the more junior base.

Use the bid packs and figure out which one you would bid higher in based on your seniority.

Edit: Latest copy of the seniority list published with 17-01 would be better now that I am thinking about it since after move dates most everyone on that list will be on the line and bidding and it doesn't reflect TDYs (which is a good thing).

Speaking of 17-01, if a 900 FO gets awarded 200 CA and loses his vacation days as a result, at what point can he re-bid for his new vacation days? (Post final award or post CA OE).

Also, if he were to get awarded ATL, how would he bid for vacation weeks that don't yet exist for that base?

Wondering if someone could share some information on what a commute out of RDU would be like. I would be interested to know how easy, or not easy it would be to get to ATL or LGA. PM if needed. Thanks for the help.
