Maybe people with cjo's shouldn't be in the negotiations. I know a couple of them that are great guys who want good things for us, but you've got a point. Maybe they subconsciously are less aggressive than that would be otherwise

What seems to be the consensus of what pilots here actually want?

Mainline money, flow, long call, better reserve rules, more 401k, long and short hotels, cheaper but better insurance More or less everything mainline has seems to be the common topic

Delta +1 would be nice, as long as it had flow.

No pay cut intergrating the bonus into payrates, and normal raises there after. Short/Long/ better hotels. Better reserve rules. More defined Career Prgression.

The only way to get a flow is to violate the Delta pilot scope clause, we did that pretty much with the SSP as well. That's not a road you really want to go down. However, we should be fighting for at least mainline pay rates/benefits.

That has nothing to do with the other. I can think of many examples of people who Delta should have, and should not have hired. If you are unreliable as an employee, they probably won't hire you, as the potential for abuse is way higher on their contract.

I think reality is going to be disappointing. SkyWest pilots agreeing to
a very small raise basically screwed the industry. We have to be cost
competitive with them sadly. I think our negotiating committee is
going to run into a brick wall.

We should have taken the company proposal of locking in the bonus as a two week payout.
