Ok...they shoot themselves in the foot then. No pilots in 18 months to staff their growth. Newbies go to AA feeder where they have a better shot at a DAL interview anyway, and if that doesn't work out, the default is a wide body CA at AA making $500 k. Come on...really
Delta wanted this TA done asap because the writing is on the wall. The ball is not in their court...it's in ours. The DGI is just another guise at this point...it's time for them to make amends and admit they took advantage of us. Give us respectable career progression. Anything less is another slap in the face - especially when this is the norm at other carriers.

A flow is something that must be gifted by the mainline pilots of Delta to us. There is no way to strong arm them into it. The AA flow is a mainline contractual agreement with APA, dating back to the early 90's. The Mesaba flow was something the NWA mainline pilots extended to us, as a provision of operating 76 seat jets. Do you think Delta pilots are going to spend negotiating capital on us getting a flow?
