I did pick it up, and it was approved. After picking it up, I realized this because I assumed, apparently incorrectly, that flica wouldn't let me pick it up if a FAR was violated. I'll contact the union.

Potentially 6-8 monthes. And as Long as it takes someone to reach 1000 hours. About 24 generally.

for people with 1000 121, a month or 2 on the line, but the company has indicated that are thinking about street captains.
For people starting from scratch, it’s when you get 1000 121. getting 1000 121 takes about 18 months- depending on how aggressive you want to be in picking up block time.

I just got denied a pickup because the base time between the trip I picked up and my next trip was 10.5 hours instead of 11, even though 10 is legal it violates the contract. I thought you just needed 10 hours but I was wrong. I've been denied picking up trips due to exceeding 117 limits before too, sounds like they were just asleep.

Probably because it scores you a hotel. Did you call them on it?

Yeah the union said they were right to deny it, Section 12 F. 1. A. 11 hours of rest in domicile.

Got me to thinking that it will screw scheduling if/when we co domicile. Lots of IROPs where we get stuck in NYC late at night after being extended and do the 10 hour minimum overnight to operate a flight in the am. Actually going to look tonight, I can think of one instance where they only gave us 10 if I remember right when I got IROPed into a JFK(my base) overnight.

If it's an unscheduled (or originally scheduled for over 11) overnight in base then it can be 10 hours, but if under 11 they must offer a hotel if you want it.
