If I read the statement correctly on DLnet, they’re only getting 10% this year. Not saying that’s bad, but not the 20% they got in years last. I’m not mad, my tax estimates are putting something like $2600 back in my pocket above and beyond what I would have gotten. Thanks, Obama... 😂

I just compared my take home pay to my buddy’s at SWA (who got the $1000 bonus) and nearly cried. I may have to call in sick tomorrow, and it’s your fault.
$700 may not be a big deal to some, but I find it pretty nice to have someone giving money to me.

So Southwest is a regional now? Compare you pay check to Envoy or another regional getting it and then offer to trade pay checks if you get to have their bonus. A few thousand dollars a year is better than one time $1000

I never said SWA was a regional. I was just comparing to OAL who also got the $1,000, like SWA and JB. Comparing apples to apples here. Wasn’t aware that ENY got the tax bonus. Did they?

Comparing any regional to any major airline is delusional. There is nothing apples to apples about your comparison.

If I were to compare our not getting the tax bonus to a regional which also did not get a tax bonus, that would be pretty silly, would it not? So I instead talked about airlines I know that ARE getting the $1000 tax bonus. Which to date, we are not.

Man, the sense of entitlement in our forum is strong today, fellas. Let’s reel it back a bit. The new TA rates will start paying out soon, let’s just be thankful for what we’ve got.
