Nobody will tell you anything of that sort and that number is sure change before it’s over.

Really? Can you please show me what Endeavor bills Delta verses Skywest or Republic?
just remember that Endeavor does not Charge or “Bill” Delta. Endeavor is part of Delta and Delta pays for Endeavors existence. Whatever success or failure Mother D experiences , Endeavor is included in that . That’s why we should have gotten some profit sharing and flow over the time we have been Endeavor . We aren’t a separate company . When Delta Furloughs mainline pilots soon , They will have to park x amount of 76 seaters as well as take 6 seats out of X amount of more 76 seaters per the mainline pilot contract . They will be parking planes anyway . There is no Flowback for mainline pilots into Endeavor . Skywest will be pummeled big time as they fly for American , United, and Delta. All of whom are cutting back 70 percent . Delta will just simply tell sky west that a good bit of their services are not needed now and American and United will tell them the same thing and Skywest will have to park quite a bit of Airplanes . Even though Skywest pilots treated Mesaba guys like **** in SLC when we were flying out there after the merger , I don’t wish anything bad on anyone . This **** happening to our society and country is no fun , but it shows we are all in this and are brothers and sisters in the same fight . God speed to all

[QUOTE=Sperrysan;3001232]Talk about a rollercoaster of scheduling the last 6 months. First 9e is overstaffed and no reserves flying. Then, holy crap you all need to fly more we are growing enjoy min days off. Finally, slowing down flying with few thinking this is the end of days. Who do we need to talk to to find a middle ground for all of this?[/QUOTE That is a big spectrum . Makes one’s head spin . All within a couple months . Like you said , going from overstaffed to losing 45 a month and can’t hire a chimp to The Rapture coming and End of Days !!!. Need to see my Shrink 😂

I totally agree with this post. For those of you who think Skywest is cheaper than Endeavor I will offer this. Skywest is a cost plus operation. Endeavor is a cost operation. If Skywest ever had a lower cost structure compared to Endeavor it, more than likely, was due to economy of scale. As the mainline partners pull flights from everyone, including Skywest, they no longer enjoy the cost benefits of scale. Besides a giant payroll, Skywest has aircraft leases to pay and stockholders to please. Lose the scale lose the economy. Fingers crossed being tied at the hip of Big Daddy D plays out in our favor. But what do I know I could be looking for a 172 job by the end of next week. Best wishes to all my Endeavor Brothers and Sisters.

Great suggestion. Tell a guy to do something that you know perfectly well he can’t do. Maybe try explaining it. Might be nice to get your input?

Yes Yes and Yes I have ZERO idea what I am talking about, I really don't!!! However, I just read through the earnings call you were talking about (ok I skimmed it) and I do not see anything in there that contradicts my point. 13% of Skywest flying is "At Risk" No sure if EAS flying (if they do any EAS flying) is lumped into their at risk flying. So about 87% of their flying is Branded or CPA flying. (ie cost plus flying) Since I do not know what I am talking about I will ask you; how does a cost plus operation realize enough savings to beat out a wholly owned? One would guess economy of scale is one way to offer the mainlines a competitive price on their flying, lord knows it is not based on performance.

Given the cuts the mainlines are going to make, one could assume that a big chunk of OO's at risk flying (13%) is going to dry up real quick. According to the transcript one could assume the mainlines could cut an additional 15% of OO's flying and not run afoul of long term contracts. This is going to put a big dent into OO's year end earnings, and their economy of scale advantage.

Regardless of our cost structure or the "Gold Standard" performance levels we provide, Big Daddy D could shut 9E down tomorrow in favor of the the chosen one SkyWest. and never blink an eye. Reality sucks
