All NYC upgrade times will be fairly quick, maybe before new-hire training is completed. This is a temporary situation based on many factors. 9E currently has enough qualified FOs to upgrade without using new-hire Captains. quite a number of those FOs are holding out to upgrade for many reasons-waiting to hold a line as Captain, waiting for a certain domicile, etc etc.

The upgrade time may get better or it may get worse depending on the decisions made by holdout FOs. By the time you wait to see "how it will go" will be too late.

Get on board and roll the dice. Be willing to sit FO for a bit if it turns into that or be thrilled when you are insta-Captain.

Unless you want MSP Captain. MSP FO is possible in a year or 2, but MSP Captain requires adult diaper level seniority.

I have no perspective on the utilization question.

I start class on Monday; just doing some planning. I'm happy to sit NYC CA RSV, I live within two hours. I'm just hearing that it might be worth it to wait for the 900.

How can you wait? Don't you bid what's available to the class?

Good luck in class. Plenty of good student made study material in Quizlet. Just search for 9E or Endeavor and download the most recent study sets.

I have not seen anything in Quizlet which is improper. Stay away from any gouge floating around which looks like completed workbooks or test information. The company is rightly considering that cheating. No need for it anyway. Just do the work.

Doubtful anyone is getting awarded NYC 200 for awhile. Definitely not on the captain side. They are cutting it in half in NYC by summer. Dtw or atl on the other hand are possibilities for the 2

They did not waive any company time for 900 CA upgrade. So, no street hires yet.
I guess I need to switch to the 200, or I could stay right seat in the 9 and continue to b!tch. Yea, option 2 will be a lot more fun.
