You can have up to 4 parents on your benefits, so yes both step parents can be on there just can't have in-laws on your benefits.

We only have domestic partner, we do not have travel companions, big difference. A travel companion is anyone you choose vs a domestic partner you have to provide proof that you live together for a minimum of 6 months.

Thanks for the explanation. I was thinking spouse (if you’re married), and travel companion (if living together).

Just found that online, thanks again for correcting my error! Deleted my incorrect response to avoid confusion.

Question that I'm not 100% sure about even after reading the contract. Looks like this will happen to me at the end of this month.

Let's say that I finish day 1 of a 4-day trip that I picked up out of open time for 150% when I hit my 190 in 672 limitation.

What happens? Contract says I will be paid for the "leg value" of my removed flight(s). If they have to remove me from the remainder of the 4-day trip, which seems likely to happen, am I pay protected for the remainder of the trip at 150%?

Thanks!

They allowed you to pick up to exceed a FAR max? Were they asleep at the wheel?

I'd send this question to the union for clarity. The email address is at the bottom of all the fast reads.

Really? You can have 4 parents, but not 2 in-laws?

Wanna be careful picking up work that exceeds the FAR limits. That’s on you if you go over and get caught. You shouldn’t have picked it up, technically.

That being said, the company should never have allowed you to pick it up.

May not have been over when he picked it up.

Maybe other trips were extended pushing him into it.
