TSH is in no position nor do they have the capability to do branded flying. They say they are taking the MRJs but no doubt in my mind they aren't coming to any US carrier.

They certainly do if the plane has Emirates painted on the side of it. Emirates has more brand recognition than the legacies.

Yes we (we're all delta) have. ERJs may be configured between 69 and 76 seats. Pax hate the CRJ with a passion. Mostly because they are misconnected sometimes even though the flight arrives on time but the ramp personnel take forever for the pinkies. We get what we pay for. 700s are trash because our diamond plutonium cry babies whom seldom pay for their own ticket abhor having to waddle through steerage to have a leak. ERJs are a win in both regard.

Now here's what we suspect is going to happen. All three DC carriers (there will only be 3 going into 2019, or sometime within 2019) will operate both the CRJ and eJet for overlapping coverage should one carrier have to recover for the other. So most likely, we will get those within the next 12 months. There is no real vision for opening up a new base anywhere yet. The base opening talk is pure conjecture. The eJet is rumor based on actions in MSP and ATL.

That's actually a great business move. Compass is not needed at all. SkyWest can easily take their lift on the west coast, Envoy is growing much in the same fashion 9E is, and TSA will be able to use CZ pilots for their own lack of staffing.

FFS, regional pilots have the entire industry by the nuggets and don't even bother using that to their advantage. Instead they just follow the hulls around like a sick puppy begging for more abuse.

Unfortunately that would require a level of solidarity among pilot groups that doesn't exist.

To stop the whipsaw, pilots would have to refuse to go to the new airline on the block. They aren't going to do that. There's always some that look at the new airline as a way to get ahead in seniority etc. etc.

Good in theory, flawed in practice because of human nature.

Boom! Why I voted No. bigger gains.
Working our ass off and crediting 75/month...co-domicle BS in full strength

More and more 200% out there. I can’t and won’t pick up any flying because of my schedule. Scheduling wonders why pilots aren’t picking up trips (CA side ). Never see our own bed.

It looks like attrition is picking up. 37 for February not including
those who quit during training. That is probably zero growth
for the month. They had better think twice about limiting class
sizes to only 40 a month.

Exactly what I’ve been saying. If they want to take on all this new flying they better find a way to train more.

Half of that is from the SSP which is dead in another two months. Then movement from the top will start to slow down.
