The latest “Bill of Writes” from today says the ramp up in hiring is to “position us from a pilot staffing stand point to be able to staff additional growth through consolidation ... exact details still being determined.”

Weird. I dont think we know whats going on and its a bunch of false hope like usual. Ever since gumm left this company has turned to garbage.

Where is the memo about the EFBs? I am up to date on email and the flight ops tab and not the tablet because I'm off for a few days... Did they only push it out to the tablets?

Nothing has changed since Gumm left. Same good company. Sounds like you are being impatient. You have to wait for the pieces of the puzzle to fall into place.

Bill Lentsch is probably the best exec in the industry right now, probably the future Delta CEO. The issues we face are because we are a NYC airline, which causes all kinds of issues to stack up.

I haven’t seen any difference in the company since Ryan left. Just because we don’t have 150 aircraft on order doesn’t mean this place turned into a dumpster fire. Hiring is picking back up.


Rumor mill. TW allegedly told recurrent last week that Cuba flying is in the future for us. Mesa will be doing it for United from Houston. So regionals going down there is a real thing. Thoughts?

You are full of garbage! Everyone got a raise and better non-rev priority, the management team is fairly transparent and answers our questions directly in company communications, most of the new contract has been implemented, etc. I don't know about you, but most of the folks I work with are great and I enjoy coming to work here.
