Any "Latest & Greatest" about Endeavor?
They'd better send some handlers on our flights to keep us from defecting.

I haven’t seen any difference in the company since Ryan left. Just because we don’t have 150 aircraft on order doesn’t mean this place turned into a dumpster fire. Hiring is picking back up.
Rumor mill. TW allegedly told recurrent last week that Cuba flying is in the future for us. Mesa will be doing it for United from Houston. So regionals going down there is a real thing. Thoughts?

DGI Update
In other news, word on the street is that DAL management recently apprached EDV to rethink through flow talk. In short, if you don't have a degree, better get one. Robust career progression (with MEC support) coming sooner than later...

Seems plausible given we have not heard the slightest peep about the DGI since details were announced about a month ago, but I’m not going to hold my breath...

Back when the DGI enhancements were annouced the union sent out a email saying how they remained neutral with the decision. The last paragraph in that email said they had a proposal to Delta that they thought would work with both parties and we havn’t heard anything about it, so we will see, but I also will not be holding my breath.

This has been in the churn for quite a while. The flow would be for anyone that didn't get the no in the SSP, and has a degree. I highly, highly doubt the union will agree to that.

It’s extremely unlikely the MEC would agree to any flow that wasn’t seniority based and excluded any seniority list pilots.
The MEC suggests a seniority based flow every time they met with management and every time the are told that’s it’s not on the table. Maybe someday but not right now.

I anticipate those handful of SSP's that follow the rules and attend the leadership course, will indeed get a CJO at DAL. Next you will see an enhanced career progression pathway program that will allow current DGI pilots the ability to move to DAL if they meet certain requirements (ie. DAL hiring req., minimum Capt time at 9E, no major discipline issues, etc). This will enable Delta to recruit directly from the 121 schools and ensure a solid flow of pilots to their gold standard regional, and then onto mainline. This would be a wise proposal for our MEC to be on board with!
