Any "Latest & Greatest" about Endeavor?
So 5th OOOI time... if that's what's going to populate crew trac I guess I WILL be logging flight time by that definition going forward... my electronic logbook imports crewtrac not rainmaker and I don't see myself going to the effort to add the typical 5 minutes.
Maybe I'll track it for a month and see how much flight time I'm losing but I'm not sure I can actually log it the old way if the new way technically meets the FAA definition...

What was with the memo they sent out previously saying that pay credit and logbook time would continue to be when the door closed and brake was released then? I know the 5th oooi is the 117 definition but found it off they mentioned that logbook time would be the current way.
Flight time means:
(1) Pilot time that commences when an aircraft moves under its own power for the purpose of flight and ends when the aircraft comes to rest after landing; or
(2) For a glider without self-launch capability, pilot time that commences when the glider is towed for the purpose of flight and ends when the glider comes to rest after landing.

And for the guy auto importing. Might just have to input the times manually at the end of each flight. Better idea to do it that way anyway so you have something to reference if you think the crew Trac times are wrong

This is correct. Company said that they will still count flight time as previously done.

So the ACARS arrival data page still shows block by the old definition and crewtrac block is now going to show the new flight time?
I didn't fly today so I didn't check it, if you checked it, I'll believe you.

Just cross checked the pic of the acars arrival page I took today against crew trac and it is indeed showing a 9 minute difference. Crew trac has forward movement flight time, as does fc view. Rainmaker, arrival page of acars and fly delta app have block times.

For all the good it will do them. If pay is disconnected from flight time, the only point of keeping track of flight time is to comply with regulatory limits, and if you're only going to track regulatory compliance based on forward movement, then having a separate flight time based off of blocking out is meaningless.
No because the end of the flight time isn't changing so the release time and the report times are still the same All this will do is allow the company to squeeze a few more minutes per leg out of us, possibly allowing for an additional leg per day (so in that way possibly longer duty days and less rest)
