Any "Latest & Greatest" about Endeavor?
If there is a aircraft swap it will be 5 days of ground. Staying in and type just 3 days of ground. 3 days of difference or 1 day of systems. Then two days of captain leadership. Go in the systems ready to pass a systems test. Limitations and basic knowledge mostly. Captain leadership is a snooze fest. You’ll do your cat ii and dg test too. Then either 1 or 2 days of FTD. One maneuvers lesson and your MV. 2 lofts and then your LOE. Usually two trips of OE then. Start to finish it was less than a month. Sims are bid for by seniority in captain leadership. They just pass around a piece of paper with different schedules. Overall upgrade wasn’t hard at all.
I'm going back to the 200, but I have not flown the plane in 4 years. (also, it was at my ex-wife (airline)). They only gave an upgrade date. No differences or anything else.
Does that seem strange. Wouldn't I have differences before upgrade?
I’d imagine the date they gave you is the first day of “differences”. They just call it upgrade.
Two weeks of ground school
First week is:
2 days gen subs 200
3 days of differences
Second week is:
2 days of leadership training
Simulator portion:
2 PT
2 MT
1 MV
3 LOS
1 LOE

We're giving that much sim time now standard, or is that what you needed?

The only ones whom I saw nearly fail were those who were texting or chatting on their phones during class and not paying attention. I.e., they brought it on themselves.
Everything is covered in class sufficiently to make a 100% with little to no outside study.

Ain’t that the truth. Rather scathing piece makes you realize the petty ****ing and moaning we all do is just that, petty. Looks like some big heads are going to be on the chopping block over at Allegiant.
