This is a preferential program right; giving qualified Endeavor employees an interview with less average experience than an OTS candidate... surely.a pass rate equal to the OTS metric makes it a qualified success, or are you expecting a fortune 100 company to lower its hiring standards for you?

75% is a WAG. A prediction. I could be wrong.

Delta has hired 1500-hour CFIs OTS. I’m pretty sure working at EDV for 3-4 years makes one fully qualified. And since we do it just like Delta, that makes our methods a perfect fit, as I am sure recent SSP folks would testify.
Not saying the DGI is a sure thing; it needs to be prepared for just like any interview. Only time will tell how it will go, especially since we are months away, and still don’t even have a sample memo to request the DGI, nor any path setup by the company just yet.

I think his point is that there are thousands of fully qualified applicants hoping to just get an interview. The programs get you into the interview, but from there on you are treated like everyone else who has the interview, and OTS hires had to stand out a lot more just to get that point in the first place so they may have even more experience etc.
Keep in mind though, these interviews aren't set with quotas. It's not like they have 20 interviews and are going to hire the best 15 applicants. They are going to hire however many applicants meet whatever the matrix is in the process. You aren't competing with anyone else in the group.
I don't really like the phrase that you should simply prepare like for "any interview" personally. The interview really is tough, I hope people have started to prepare already. I will also say prepare but don't try to have everything completely rehearsed. Know what stories you'd like to use for the "tell me a time" questions but don't have it set out like a play is my suggestion. They want to hear you talk in your own words is my feeling. That will also have you better prepared for the scenarios where you aren't going to have known what to rehearse.

I’m gonna tick off a lot of people but who cares...
I ageee HighFlight. The DGI candidates haven’t been here for very long, have mostly good attitudes and are very positive typically. Most (KEYWORD MOST) double no SSPs are “woah is me,” “eff Delta eff this,” “this friggin company screwed me on this and this.” They carry a chip on their shoulder and think Delta owes them something. The DGI folks are completely different. Most are positive, and have a upbeat perspective of Delta and their future. We all moan about the company, but I’ve never heard as much as I heard from most of the double No SSPs when I flew with them. Now granted they may or may not have been this way before their SSP interview, but ever since Delta changed the rules of the game there’s been a negative stigma from those involved in the SSP, pre and post interview. Well news flash, life’s a game and it ain’t fair. Why do I think DGI will be different? Because we’re fresh to the company, fresh to Delta and know going in we have to prove ourselves, not just expect a job.
