Delta has said in numerous meetings (ground handlers, fleet service.. not just pilot meetings) that delta will fire more regionals as they did with ASA (for poor performance) They want down to 3 regionals I’ve heard. All overlapping (route map wise) each other.. More by the end of this year...

The evidence would suggest more 700's first. Why else would they move up our 700 deliveries. But this does make it sound like that won't be the only interesting announcement in our future.

But who knows....

I think it will depend on how many Delta University pilots can be hired, they will need to shift aircraft from other DCI carriers to provide flying for these pilots.
