Buckle up, kids. This is where being on the balance sheet as a WO is really gonna suck.
I have met and talked with him as well. The impression I got is he does not care about employees beyond their cost and the profit he can make off of them.

This is what I heard from people in the training department who met him when he first came over.

This may be all moot if they announce a domestic travel ban in any form. The fact that they're talking about it is going to be enough to scare travelers away

We’re short of pilots by 10% for current flights so dropping 10% of flights should
mean we’re staffed appropriately

I thought I read in one of the regular news articles that Delta was looking to park 180 regional aircraft. A quick back of the napkin calculation indicates to me that 70-90 of those are likely to come from Endeavor...

I heard the same thing from someone I know in the training department at Delta on Friday night, when their company when sending out multiple emails with information and explaining thing can change but here’s what we know. Unlike what we have been getting. On a side note MN schools are closed until further notice, this is going to get very tricky and maybe a lot of sick calls.

What I’ve heard is a total of 300. 180 mainline and 120 regional. I saw it in communication from someone at Delta 4 days ago. Now keep in mind this is all being evaluated and changing rapidly. Best of luck to everyone

There are about 180 mainline planes that can be parked, and the company doesn't have to make payments on. On the regional side, there are still 120 50 seaters that are the obvious choice to park. Delta can park the MD's, 777, most 767s, the 717, and the 737-700.

It's "they're in meetings." lol had to throw that bit of glowing humor amidst global pandemics.

This is going to make 9/11 look like a walk in the park.... once the USA goes into quarantine/ lockdown this week, with domestic travel bans to hot spot cities will essentially kill the economy and send us all into a recession like unseen....worrying about your April bid and wearing your orange lanyard should be the least of your concern... or why you don’t get your premium pay if you call out sick.....the company will speak tomorrow.... buckle up and start thinking about your next job. The fat needs to be trimmed... we are the fat.

What next job? If there's an economic meltdown, we're all screwed anyways.
