I don’t like people that panic but this might actually hit this level. Restaurants closing movie theaters gyms.....list is growing rapidly! most likely a deep recession market going to hit a couple tickets and most likely shutdown.

.why would airlines continue to burn fuel with empty seats?

I don't understand why anyone would be surprised at this. It's already been covered in these forums that he and Delta do not care about us beyond how much we cost.

In other news, according to the MEC the only mean of disinfectant the company has provided (sani-coms) are not effective against COVID-19

Your right, however it still bothers me especially since most other companies are doing everything in their power to communicate with their employees.

No Sani-coms in the last 4 planes I flew. Go figure.

It bothers me too. Lousy leadership. Let's hope that we as pilots look out for each other. Forget about what name is on the badge and try to help each other out as much as we can. It's going to be a long road ahead.

I do think that wearing the orange lanyard in the face of massive industry layoffs and suffering is a bit tactless...

“Lighten up Francis”

Lol, great movie quote! Anyhow, I’m just calling
It as I see it.....been here before and know that this is well beyond 9/11 impact to the economy and our industry....don’t kid yourself thinking you’ll have a job 30 days from now....flying that is. Between today and Wednesday the domestic travel ban is imminent. I don’t like it anymore than you or anyone else....but it’s necessary. We can only hope the federal government will help bail out the airlines ....time to accept what’s about to happen ....and why would one think DL will take care of 9E? We are the first to be scrapped ....good luck...hope I’m wrong but been around a while and have seen a thing or two...Godspeed.
