The email was pretty clear. We shouldn't budge on concessions unless we get some sort of guarantee out of it. Mainly, that the company won't declare bankruptcy after we give up concessions.

You do realize that under current circumstances, any flow agreement would probably only come with a flow back agreement. Is that really what you want right now?

How about we don’t get wrapped around the axle about a flow or whatever. Point is we shouldn’t give concessions out of the goodness of our hearts. There are plenty of no cost items the company can give us, if / when it comes to that. A flow is one of those, but shouldn’t be only acceptable option. Hopefully it won’t.

WINNER WINNER!! The chairman’s update was rather alarming. The MEC is STILL pedaling career progression?? In this environment? They’re so concerned with their dumb orange lanyards that they’ve lost complete touch with reality. Unbelievable. October 1 is going to be a big slice of humble pie for a lot of people at a lot of different companies including this one. MEC is delusional. How about focusing on job security while we still have one here rather than leveraging progression to a company that won’t be hiring for another year at least.

Unfortunately too many here forget that in times of crisis companies come after any earned benefits of the staff with a vengeance. To not sink the ship the staff gives everything and the MGT still torpedos the ship. If they want concessions we need some time n writing benefits for us.
