Well is your commuter policy any good? If not, start working on that with ALPA immediately. That’s a huge factor tbh.

I commute and the first 2 months of doing it sucked, but once you have the routine down, in and outs of the potential ways of arriving at your destination, it’s not bad.

If I list for 2 flights along with the jumpseats, I’m pay protected. Make a quick call saying I tried, I get positive space.

I thought you claimed to be a Delta pilot? You should get positive space automatically now after signing that LOA, no call to scheduling needed.

That’s temporary, 12 month’s only unfortunately.

Our FA’s got positive space commuting along with the pilots. And didn’t pay union dues.

Our commuting policy is the same as your permanent one. Literally. Our contract basically says, our commuting policy will mirror that of Delta. Second flight positive space and call in honest. But we don't have to list for the jump seat

To be fair, it’s actually 16 months now. Thru April 2022.

Also if the routes are the exact same as one claimed for ATL, then maybe I’d consider, but overall I’d rather be flying 2-3 legs a day over 4-6.
Also you’re absolutely crazy. Commuting to a 900 base as a line holder vs living in base on a 200 even on reserve is a no brainer. I’m pretty sure you’ve never had the chance to compare the two. Unless maybe you hate being home. Secondly, name a time when you can be a line holder on a 900 but not a 200.

Our union has filed a grievance over us not having positive space, which is supposed to be heard next month

What are the grounds for the grievance?

The contract says Endeavor's commuter clause shall be the same as is provided to Delta's pilots
