So it looks like Republic just went to $90/hr for first year FOs and $140/hr for first year CAs. Is Endeavor now at the bottom for pay? Just for FOs I believe Air Wisc is $60, Spirit $61, and CommutAir is at $72.

Silver Airways is paying around the same as Endeavor (they just raised their rates from 40 to 52). Not sure which one is lower now.

OK .. so I have been with 9E at one point in time. Long story short, I really want to go to UPS. I have some heavy FO time now ( around 700 hours in the 767), left for a 91 captain job on a Gulfstream that I thought would be great and it's turning out to be ... not so great. The owner is getting VERY cheap with things and QOL is declining quick. I went into it knowing the risk so it's my fault. Oh well, moving on....
So, my question is, even with some of the negativity going on right now at 9E, is CVG do-able for a Direct Entry Captain? I would need to just do it for a year or so, get the rest of my TPIC time (need around 700'ish). I think it would be worth banking the Sign-On bonus to save up for that first year at UPS if I were lucky enough to get on there. I live in CVG by the way. Just seeking some advice from those there right now. I know it's negative so I don't need that fed to me.. LOL. I really enjoyed representing the Delta brand and had fun with it when I was there. Thank you in advance and I hope things do improve here to get on par with or head of the AA regionals.

This is still a great company. Yes, our contract is subpar compared to everyone else, but hopefully that will be fixed soon. Anyone starting out, don’t come here. But if you just need to get some PIC time and get out, sure, do it.

I believe in your case, it would be worth it. CVG is super junior, so yes, you could get it either immediately or worst case on the first vacancy (usually every other month).

Dont confuse company with management. We know there are issues, as I stated earlier. But overall, it’s still a good place to work.

I said great company, not great management. The people (pilots) here have always been top notch. In 4 years, I have had maybe 2 trips that the other pilot was not at least bearable to fly with. The training department has always been great IMO, and most aspects of the business side have done well. (HR, etc…)
