How about you quantify that a bit more. Anyone who has used an iPad and Surface in the 121 world (like me) would overwhelmingly choose the former. In my experience, there is no choice.

I, myself, have used the iPads in corporate for about 6 years(Foreflight and Jeppview) and am now testing the Surface here at Endeavor. Honestly both are about the same. Neither are what I would consider perfect. I think we should be happy with having something besides the paper charts. The Surface will be sufficient and frankly, so will the iPad...or both if they swing that.
These are good problems to have. The biggest nuisance of the Surface is having to press a link 50-60x before it will click, for whatever reason.

I won't be picky about the efb if all I need to show up with is the efb, flashlight, and headset. I figure it saves 60 pounds to stash on a DH or non-rev adventure and I can condense to an overnight bag and just a briefcase with all I need for a trip. The rest of it, whatever, let the bean counters have their statistical (aka: financial) wins. Keep it a reliable and Internet updatable product and 60 pounds/1 whole bag less to shove around and I'll call it a win.
It's great to see such minor things as big squabbles. That means the rest is going well. Big picture thinking wins the games.

Yeah I'll be thrilled to drop down to two bags. Hard to complain about doing revisions for all of 9 months so far when most folks have been doing for 9 years+. What are folks gonna do now to show off all their stickers???
