You have some dude who doesn’t even work here anymore starting a witch hunt against someone who for as far as I can understand tried to get some LOA passed that let him get the upgrade on the next bid because it’ll be a few days short of him turning 23. I bet like 10 people care about this...nothing to see here. Move on. There’s been more drama about this than the company paying the backpay late. Mostly all the dudes arguing it have already flowed too. They need to get a life and realize hobbies exist outside envoy ALPA.

No! You’re wrong! He needs to go. Someone in his position who is looking to benefit himself only is not the right person for the job. There is no witch hunt here its all in the minutes. That dude needs to go.
They immediately adjourned. That’s the short version. They’re worried he gets re-elected and that they’ll be stuck working with him. Rather than make an enemy they needed a fingers off way of letting the pilots know. I offered to help. What needs to happen if he doesn’t immediately resign or withdraw from the election (which is what they expected him to do) is for the MEC to call a special MEC meeting by teleconference for the sole purpose of approving and releasing the meeting minutes before the election is over. |

The MEC told him they wouldn’t expend negotiating capital to benefit a single MEC member. They told him to draft a resolution LOA that could be used to help all pilots in he future in his same situation. He refused to do it so it benefited all, and insisted they do one for him.... now.

What kind of 'talents' does a 22 year old FO really have?
I'd say let him join management if they have a position for him. |
Why does a 22 year old even have a position in the union
