So, is the company not paying us to complete this training? I thought they did?

What are the possible repercussions for not doing it, and are they going to accept the, “No pay, no complete training”?

They specifically say when they're paying us and how much they're paying us.

In this case, our contract stipulates that we must be paid for training. So that should answer your question.

Nope. The last training they paid us for was the Overspeed Awareness training which came with an HI6 specifically stating that we’d be paid.

8. "It takes 15 mins to do this, so we will pay you for 8". There were "uhmm... did they mean 18?" comments. No, they meant 8, because it makes sense. To someone somewhere.

It's the contract. 50% rounded up to the nearest minute.

I would say it’s more about the principle than the company paying me 7 minutes. Now if you multiply it times 2500.. thats a good chunk of change

I'm not advocating doing unpaid training. I never completed them.

I have a DOD ID number listed in my profile, so anytime I D1 or D2, I get TSA pre Check. My airport does not have KCM. Traveling in civilian clothes.

However, when I book the A1D travel through DECs, import it on Travel planner, check in on AA (to change seats), and then actually check in on travel planner inside 24 hours, my boarding pass does not say Pre Check.

I don't think TSA honors Precheck with just a Mil ID card, has to be on boarding pass, but I could be wrong.

Any idea or insight? If I had built an aa.com account and checked in through there would that have solved the prob?
You can also just add it at the airport kiosk if none of this works. That’s what I ended up doing for A-pass.

I have Global Entry and for whatever reason it populates just fine with D2ing, but not on an A-pass.

Just get global entry. The company reimburses you for it.
