You can then take that PNR and select a better seat (including MCE within, I think, four hours of departure), add an AAdvantage number if you have linked TSA Pre or higher boarding priorities, as well as check in 24 hours prior to get on the upgrade list as an UPGE.

Still 2, in many cases it won’t be true positive space (when basic economy fares are sold out)

New seniority list is 3 months newer than the last update. My flow number moved up an average of 32.3 slots per those three months. Meaning 3.3 people left outside of flow above me per month. With 2.5 years left to flow, that number will go down as the percentage of pilots above me goes down. Let’s say an average of 2 pilots leave ahead of me for the rest of my time here. That puts me two months ahead of schedule. Now subtract the 2 Decembers that AA won’t be hiring and you get exactly what the ALPA seniority list says. Obviously it’s a small sample size, but when will I start seeing the company’s magical attrition/flow numbers come into play?

But who cares you are pay protected!!!!! Don’t snipe a jump seat because you are wanting to get to work.

This isn’t aimed at you NVA but rather a public service announcement.

You think you’re pay protected on a CP?

As far as I know you’re not pay protected if you use a commuter clause.

With 2.5 years left, it means you are in the group that is flowing in just under 5 years, correct?

The company is advertising that if you get hired NOW that you will flow 5.5 years, not that there are pilots here that WILL flow in 5 years. The group that will flow within 5ish years will do so because there were huge numbers of people that left and little hiring for quite a while. Now the opposite is true. Envoy is currently hiring 60 a month and flowing half that. There were months when there closer to 75. And the flow is about to be choked off to 15 a month. There is no way the numbers will work unless the company goal is to drive away twice as many pilots outside the flow. THEN the math starts to work.
