My wife has joined me on a long overnight or lost day almost once a month this last year. And most of the time she brought both kids. My daughter wanted to see snow so they went with me to Fargo last month. It’s no problem and it can be lots of fun.

Van is not a problem if there is room. If not be prepared to take an Uber.

Watch the loads and be ready for her to not go, or not come back on time.

May consider leaving the hotel early if security might be an issue. Mo KCM for SO.

Don’t check a bag.

Be respectful of other crew members’ time.

As with all non-revving you have to be flexible. Semper Gumbi.

New bid packets out. I'm guessing those 18 days off with 88 hour credit lines with every overnight in base will go somewhat senior

Doubt that. More like junior with exception to a few.

Yeah believe it or not, at least OCL, most of the more senior pilots are commuters, hence making that line a dud. In addition, while its nice to be home every night you don't actually get done flying until around 6pm, then you factor in the drive home. Reverse that the next day and it turns out to be lots of driving and running around.

Not to say they are not good, but they certainly are for the right people only. Lastly, harder to pick up OT as they credit like 88 hours or something.
