Don’t talk your coworkers through an approach and landing like you’re flying with a pre-solo student. For one, you’re breaking sterile, two you’re not conducting IOE, and three you’re being a tool. Stick to standard call outs.
That is all.
That is all.

So let the RTP guy pull it to idle and flare at 100’? Roger that. I will make sure to put your advice in my ASAP and Pipeline report. Thanks for the tip.

I’m not talking about the Sucksters. They’re in a different category. Go ahead and hold their hand if you want.
I’m talking about the tools that say “check airspeed” when you’re 3 knots off. Listening to that ******* for four days is extremely annoying. Or a classic... when you’re hand flying and go to level off and god for bid you go 10feet above altitude and the guy sitting next to you goes into cardiac arrest over 10feet which you’re already in the process of correcting...

That’s just part of being an FO, accepting critique from a captain (yes including critique from non-LCA, non-IOE, regular line captains) we’ve all been there, and it’s literally in their job description to do so, and literally in yours as an FO to accept such criticism. It’s only annoying if you let it annoy you. You have options as well, use the autopilot for level off if you don’t want to hear your deviations called out. Otherwise just relax, you’ll be in the left seat soon enough.
