So the state dept today eased travel restrictions from level 4 to level 3 through to level 1, will that in any way affect foreign travel and flying in general? Very optimistic for the best 👍

First time poster. Not a long time lurker. Come on here when things are interesting around work, see what the rumors are, but that’s about it. Figured since it’s the end of times maybe I’d join in.
When industry was doing well, pre covid, our raise negotiations were a joke with hostile management and all. And that’s when they actually wanted to give us something. What will it look like when they want something back? I sit in the top 25% of our seniority, so technically short of going out of business I guess I have some job security. But idk if I have the energy for what’s to come. Not sure if I’ll be able to get out, but I am looking at options. Anyone else thinking of leaving the rat race?

Unfortunately, all my other options have either gone up in smoke or become highly unreliable with the COVID mess.

Yea the LTLOA looks attractive. Let’s you go in a new direction without all the normal risk, assuming envoy survives. I unfortunately also am not in a position to do this today. But I’m updating the resume, and will be taking a look at community college/ vocational schools. Seems like a good time to pick up a trade. Idk that it will be worthwhile enough to leave the job, but it’s a start for me. And at least makes for a softer landing if things really go sideways.
