Lets us just put it out there, since the union email states it pretty clearly.
Number 9. This LOA is only really useful for our RTP/Military Reserve pilots. They will be able to supplement their income with mil leave and most likely are not on the company health care anyway, so no financial burden coming from that. I would say a good deal of them also already have some form of retirement from the military so can afford to lose $3-5K each month in lost wages.
There may be a few other outliers, but this is geared directly for them and them only. Everyone else who isnt in that position, doesn't have a second income stream, has a significant other who may have been laid off, those who use company insurance, those who dont live with their parents all have no help whatsoever with this.
Dera you talk about options being good and I am glad that our military brothers and sisters will get help with this, but there are zero options for everyone else.

On behalf of all the PSA pilot group I am sorry for what has happened in the past, present and you know what lets just throw in the future..... (sarcasm for those that can not detect it)
Everything that your leadership has done, based on who you voted for by the way, is our fault over here at PSA. You guys being offered 19 hours is our fault. Covid 19 is probably our fault too. Start looking internally and blaming yourself and own pilot group for the mistakes that have been made. Using PSA as a scapegoat isn't going to fly anymore.

I understand your position and that you have to play your cards close, I appreciate that. I also appreciate that you are here often giving out very good information. You and I may disagree with this, maybe we agree and you just cant come out and say it. Either way, thank you for at least hearing us all out on these boards. lol

May want to call out your own reps man. Ours have stated they have been in communication with yours... Maybe remind them that 19 hours for leave is a joke considering what other regionals have put out.

We have. I am starting to see a loose pattern and that is our new MEC just throws the information out there and gets a feel for the reaction from the pilot group. This is technically better than what our past MEC's did, which was just blindly accept things without our knowledge, but it does appear to cause moments of intense panic among our pilots. lol, oh well. What do they say, a pilot is never happy?

ignoring our guys emails does not constitute communication, and on your second point... already done. Envoy is trying to turn the fact that 1/4 of our guys can pop smoke and fly helis against us, but from what I’m hearing it’s going to take awhile for most people to get orders. In my opinion, Even if the LOA is green lit, they aren’t going to capture the number of pilots they need unless they up the ante.
