Just a little joke. Please chill, I don’t wanna wind up buried in your back yard.

The loans, years of training, and years of time building are incomparable to other labor groups that again, while valuable, have not made those same sacrifices, do not share our burden, and may be easily and quickly trained.

A quick update that management had submitted a sub par proposal and that negotiations will continue would have sufficed. By tacitly agreeing to this your MEC has devalued yourselves and also our profession. We are not rampers, we are highly trained professionals and we have earned more than a concessionary 19 hours. And now our negotiations, which are still closed to us all, are affected by this offer that has been submitted with at least the appearance of the MEC seal of approval.

Y’all deserve so much more than this offer.
I dont think it could be said any better.

I'm just scratching my crystal ball here. I think the other WO's will publish something similar very soon.

Similar to what, the 19 hour deal we were offered? If so, I wouldn't be surprised, I just hope they too give lots of push back to their MEC's so this can be dead on arrival.

Nothing changed with the VPLOA 'early out option'. All those guys are fine. What we're ****ed about was that they said they'd award a certain number of VSTLOA and VELOA - paid and unpaid leaves of absence - just to find out that they're only awarding it to 190 and widebody pilots for the month of April.

While there may be a VERY small group that can get mil time seemingly on demand, the reality is that those Guard and Reserve people do their required days and not much more. That usually averages out to about six days a month. Most can’t do more than that unless there is a deployment involved, either the actual deployment or train up. Those mil days end up helping out those that are trying to pick up open time because if they’re a line holder, those days end up there in OT, or if they are out for a whole month that means one person lower on the seniority list gets a line.

Most folks still aren’t going to be able to make it on 25% pay plus their normal military days.
I’m in a good position to accept the CSLOA, but the 19 hours just isn’t a decent offer. I’ll suck it up and sit reserve until they come up with something better. As far as the military alternative, I doubt there’s enough orders available to support the sudden burst of interest.

Definitely not enough military duty to cover even a small part of this. And I could actually see a lot of aviation being cut back to pay for other stuff.

Without public negotiating, I have to agree that Envoy is going to have to up the ante significantly to get much interest.
