That's the hill you're gonna die on? That it causes myocarditis but you might be able to claw back a special issuance and get back in the cockpit? lmao

Looks like we’re making a name for ourselves in DC. I wonder how the view is sitting on top of this FO’s high horse.

“The 75” has me wanting to punch a wall. Why can’t people just be normal?

They think it's completely normal to call it the 7-5 or seventyfive. I run into someone saying that about once a month

uhhh yeah no, it is not. First of all I doubt the crew actually had the mental capacity to spot the difference between an E170 or E175. Secondly, that sounds so much like a Mainline Skywest thing to say.

Completely agree! I'm just pointing out their mentality on it. Either way, the crew in the video was very unprofessional to that controller. I'm glad some people called them out on it. I'm not familiar with DCA ops but they sound like skywest showing up and complaining in the E satellite when we all know it's a logjam 110% of the time

There is only one aircraft you should be calling the seven five and it’s the 757. When I first heard someone call the 175 the seven five a was rather confused. It does seems little Skywest mainliney.

Above… now that’s an airplane!

“The other RJ” would have more than sufficed. We are flying RJs, and trying not to hit other RJs. “Thanks for your help on the pushback, sorry if a bit slow, just being cautious”

I wonder if the FO went off the reservation or if that was the tone from both pilots.

perhaps the CA wanted the number to apologize for an over zealous FO. I will give benefit of doubt that was the reason requesting a number.

My thought initially too. A “shut up beavis” moment on board followed by a request for number to call and apologize later.
