What's the official company line on what aircraft you will be assigned? I know historically you didn't know what aircraft you would be flying until you started class, and it was bid by class seniority.

With the 145s withering on the vine, and the announced additions to the E-170/5 fleet, has that changed?

To put it bluntly, I'm already typed on the 170/190 and I wouldn't be interested in flying the 145

there is no official company line, you never know what's going to be offered in class until the day you show up.
the only indication is that currently the standing vacancy is ORD 175 CA - meaning that if you come here with the qualifying time to be a DEC that's what you can put in for and likely get. This might change in October as a result of the next vacancy bid. Also when people that are way more senior to you get displaced off of 145 as it winds down, they get to choose where they go and junior people get displaced as a result (to other bases most likely. I imagine MIA might become junior at one point as the result, but that's just a guess).
In other words, feel free to get up and walk out of the door if your class doesn't have what you want.

Good for you, but your “interests” and prior experience don’t mean anything when it comes down to the company needs. All depends on what your seniority can hold and you don’t even know what the class will offer and where you will end up with your class seniority. As others have said, there haven’t been any training slots for 145s for a while. That could change literally with the next class or bid. Depends what AAG decides to do with 145s and how successful AAG and Envoy is at getting people in the door and trained as well as continuing to find more 170s that are suitable to replace the 145s. They don’t WANT to train people in the 145, but it all comes down to what the bean counters think will make them two extra cents.

Did my fingerprints and drug screening 1 month ago. Still haven’t been assigned to a class.

500 hours 121. Is this normal? I’ve sent a couple of emails but it’s been radio silence except one email from 3 weeks ago stating they received my PRIA paperwork and it had to go through an audit/captain review board.

I applied Friday, got an email today saying that I had to fix 3 faults with my application and then email the company to let them know I fixed the problems: 1.)Incomplete driving record. I haven't had a ticket since I was 17. Nothing to enter.
2.)Incomplete education history...I forgot to list the part 61 mom and pop. I fixed that. 3.) Said there was a gap in employment. I triple checked and there are no gaps at all in my history.

Are there real people looking over these things? Or is this a computer kickback? None of the other airline apps I sent to other companies have kicked my app back.

I also experienced some of the above mentioned disarray and headache and I know someone who had a couple thousand hours and passed captain review then was told a class would be assigned once minimum hours were met….. maybe they should spend some money on hiring more HR. Other regionals I accepted CJO’s have been a MUCH smoother and more organized process with much better communication. Envoy contacted my current employer the same day I interviewed even though I was told they wouldn’t do that until background began after review board. I’m not personally attacking Envoy or their HR- but my experience has not been pleasant. Still sitting over here with a signed letter of commitment and crickets.

You did ask about Envoy though and you got answers.
Don't know you and don't want to base my opinion on two posts, but so far the attitude doesn't appear to be conductive for successful cooperation. Hopefully I'm wrong yadda yadda

The kids coming in 21 years after 9-11...make me laugh.... oh, it's been 3 weeks since you've heard something...cry me a river. What? Did someone say 3 months....5 months....8 months... Oh, get over yourself. If you are having to wait that long at this point you are not competitive...those before you have put in more hours and more suffering to get the job.... wait your turn.
