If I had access to it I would…unless you could point me in the direction to find it somewhere online.

Does anyone know what theLCA override is?

If you are a LCA, all flying is paid at 20 year rate. LCA override for actual legs instructing/evaluating is 100% of base pay.

With all the 145 displacements, any idea if they’ll be any Captain slots in the 10/6 orientation(class date tentative 6/31) it seems with all those guys going to the 175 that there’s be a surplus. Or are you guys getting more 175s?

Also, is there an hour requirement in type to hold LCA?

Does it matter? You’ll get paid CA pay if you have 750 qualifying hours whether you’re CA or not.

Once you start orientation you are on the payroll. I highly doubt Envoy plans on paying you for 8 months to build hours as a CFI or whatever you’re doing.

To answer your question: yes. Envoy is trying to snag all the captains they can get right now.

I saw the LAX recruiting ad, are they finally opening up that LAX base?

Both RN and RW told me to my face that an announcement was coming soon on LAX.

Am I understanding correctly that I would start at 10 year CA pay (something like $180/hr)?

Why don’t you just apply directly to SWA? I gave them a TBNT to a virtual video invite and they sent me accommodation reservations for an in person interview in DAL. Didn’t respond to that and they have been harassing me with text messages and leaving voicemails. They’re desperate.
