Have you at least heard anything about a Captain's Review Board since then? I'm also an off the street guy, ATP written complete, got the CJO end of July. I anticipate radio silence until spring at least. I already turned down another regional so I really hope this works out eventually.

I did not hear anything about the captains review board, which i did inquire about. Last email I sent was about 3 weeks ago, and they replied with " We show you on our list, once we are ready for you we will call and email you for a training date. We apologize for the delay." It was something like that. So im guessing since I have not heard from the captains review board, its a good sign. No news is good news sort of thing.

Idk if you know this, but hiring isn't like it was last year or the year before. He's probably got plenty of apps in and might not be hearing anything back. I personally have 2 cjos with no class date for months. The landscape right now is no response to apps, TBNT before even getting an interview, or cjos with no class dates. I'm very fortunate to have a 135 job while I wait on class dates but a lot of folks aren't .

I suppose there have still been no updates on class dates for 2025? I became a Cadet Instructor September 2023, started my transition October 2024, and have now been waiting 2.5 months without getting scheduled for ATP-CTP or an indoc date. At this point, I don't think we'll know about future class dates beyond the one that started December 16th until at least sometime in January unless anyone has heard otherwise?

Last week a bunch of cadets got January 13th class assigned. Seemed mostly like folks who whit their minimums in June/July timeframe.

Bro, I sincerely hope that you are wrong because my CJO expires in April! I passed CRB in April and heard absolutely nothing since my June orientation had been cancelled. Do you seriously think that we the street FO's would hear anything soon considering overall situation? To be honest, I have a speck of hope left. I have dozens of applications, and this is the only CJO I was able to receive. Some of them stopped hiring, some of them rejected my app and some of them didn't even respond. The usual treatment that many of us received.

I don’t know about “soon” but considering they’re planning on 600 new pilots this year I’d expect 50 people/month at some point in the near future
