I would think those previously offered a June Orientation are next in line in the spirit of making up for un-fulfilled promises.

The rest of the pilots...except street FO's. They're only extending invites to cadets, so the rest of us in the May group are SOL it seems.

Anybody hear anything about FO CRBs starting up again? I got the pre offer of employment at the end of July, and I know it's a lot more recent than most folks who've been waiting. I've got a CJO from another regional with a class date early 2025, but I'd REALLY rather fly for MQ.

High time FO here. Interviewed early April, passed CRB exactly a week later, received CJO. Initially got scheduled to attend the orientation on June 6th. I have been waiting since. No news except generic emails.

For those Cadets with a Nov 18th class date, did Envoy give you any study material in the meantime?

Also, does anybody have an recommended material to study while waiting for class date. Regs, Jep Charts, etc...

Amazing how things work out. The mothership resumes hiring and first class on Jan 8, 2025. Envoy seeks more sim instructors, internally. (There has been an external PSI listing for a couple weeks.) Whats the latest on aircraft deliveries in 2025 and beyond?

Their will be 6 more E175s by the end of 2024. Then 12 175s in 2025 (Per Ric Wilson) but could be more if AA decides to alocate more to envoy. AA has 78 more firm E175 orders from embraer that they havent allocated to anyone yet.

Envoy hiring DECs? I don't see the listing.

No. The company isn’t force upgrading right now, and believes the amount of FOs that currently are/will be at their captain hours when hiring resumes is enough.

There are no bonuses or current recruiting for DECs, because Envoy doesn't need them and is trying to save money. You could still apply and see what happens. If they hire you with 950+ Part 121 hours they will likely train you as a DEC. There were a couple new hire classes in June and July of 5-8 pilots, then no new hire classes until November 18th. We are hoping hiring is picking up again.

There should have been a vacancy award with base transfers and upgrade awards the first week of October and Envoy chose not to run it. There hasn't been one since July. Envoy has been asking for pilots to take a month or more off without pay for September through December.

Flying Magazine ran an article early this week quoting Delta’s finance chief announcing that Delta has reduced its 2025 pilot hiring outlook by 40% and that those numbers are similar industry wide. That brings pilot hiring numbers back to “normal” pre-pandemic levels.

At some point AA needs to make a decision on PDT. The 145’s need to be retired. You can re-fleet PDT with 175’s, or, merge them into Envoy, keep the ground handling as its own entity, and eliminate an entire flight ops structure. Time will tell, but those 78 firm won’t all end up at Envoy if PDT gets a re-fleet.
