it sounds like they’ve been consistently telling all of the OTS hires that, which is more than we have gotten since the August switch up of rescheduling. So fingers crossed!

This is phenomenal news. I was also in the June 6th orientation and have been waiting since last April (hired in March). I was very worried about my CJO expiring (got it April 4th), but it sounds like they're getting people through. My friend, who's a cadet, is in training right now and they said management strongly hinted that OTS hires will start sometime in March.

Did they send you that email out of the blue, or was it a response to an email you sent?

It was a response to my inquiry. I don't know if any operator; be it 91, 121 or 135 would email any pilot out of the blue nowadays since there are literally thousands of pilots competing for limited number of seats.

I was also worried about my CJO which also expires on 4/4, but they pretty much told me so long as there are no major changes to your file not to worry. I plan to reach out in February and ask if there are any action items that need to be completed for renewal.

Is cjo expiring only an envoy thing? Where do you see your cjo expiration date?

It literally is written on the CJO. It says "This conditional offer is valid for one year from the date of this letter". I think no CJO is good for life. Nowadays most of the airlines out there take months to reply but give you a week to finish an assesment / upload paperwork. Supply and demand my man.

Feb 10th Class was announced today for Cadets. Cadets ranged from Sep - early Dec Mins. The last class sizes have been around 30-35 so roughly ~60 per month. Seems like late Feb or March Cadets will be all through.

I can’t make any guarantees, but if you’re OTS from last year’s cancelled May/June orientations, I think there’s a good chance you’re in class by March/April.

Feb 10th class had early December mins Cadets which means they’re likely at the end of the Cadet pipeline for now. Classes are also getting larger, running twice a month.
