could this be because you all were accepted during a review board at the same time and he's older? When did they stop review board last year?

I am 48. He is younger.
Only thing I know is I am "in the pool" and "Its coming" but "We have no idea what class date you will get at this time"
I am not going to ask anymore but I will continue to refresh my email and answer all the spam calls with a touch of hope.

I wouldn’t put much thought into their ordering or reasoning. They can kind of do whatever they want, and this holds even into training - kind of at their mercy for most things other than that you’ll get paid. Really tough to predict much of anything.

I would not expect anything for quite a while. I do not have an accurate estimate but I think late summer/early fall for the recent interviewees is a good guess.

interviewed early march and have not heard anything. No news is good news AFAIK. Someone earlier in this thread said they may have been planning to do it yesterday.

data point for this thread. They’re assigning the 5/5 class and are onto OTS hires with no previous orientation who interviewed the last week of May 2024. No idea how many people in the pool.

The fundamental question being if I interviewed in fall, is there an OTS queue for June, July, Aug, Sept, that they have to get through?
If so, it sounds like 6 more months of waiting if I was an Oct interview.
