Default Envoy verses SkyWest

Ok, I have an interview scheduled with SkyWest. I want to be based out of ORD and it looks like Envoy flies a lot of routes out of there as well. I'll commute out of Little Rock.

Question, how junior is ORD for Envoy and should I consider applying there as well? Is there anything to this flow through program or Am I going to be waiting for 5 years?

Please trolls keep to yourself. Looking for professional opinions.

Thanks

With those numbers it doesn't matter.

No, you would not flow in less than 5 years.

The flow will take longer than 5 years, that's a guarantee.

You have to look at actual flow numbers to get a realistic answer. Some people make wild predictions on what they think the flow will do in the future but obviously you can't rely on that. Having said that, I would go with Envoy as they have the best flow out of all the other regionals at 16 years (1999). It will probably come down a year or two soon but if flow is what you are after Envoy is the best choice.

I think with your military background that you'll be scooped up by a legacy or LCC real soon anyway. We've had a few military guys come to envoy, get some time, then head for greener pastures with some 121 time under their belt.
But, I think at Skywest you'll probably fly a lot more and definitely be treated a lot better. And I hate to say it, but I wouldn't bank on any sort of flow. We still have guys who have been waiting 16 years to flow.
Oh and I guess I should mention that you'd have a good chance at getting ORD. We only have 2 bases and that's our biggest one. I think we're overstuffed in DFW.

Since they're already lying about the numbers why not just go directly to delta or United with your quals. Skip the freak show.

Ask the 824 how long it took them.

If AA is your #1 choice don't go to envoy. You will get hired off the street well before you could flow.

Dude its only 16 years, probably more like 14 years in the next few months. I would go for the guaranteed flow instead of taking a risk and not going with flow. Without the flow, your chances of ever getting hired are near zero.

Look at Deltas pay rates and even Uniteds. See what he would be making there at year 14.

You were joking right?
