Effing laughable. What a tool! I work for Envoy and you forgot to mention perpetual reserves, more than 1/3 of pilots on stuck on a miserable and ineffective reserve system including 14-year captains, some going on FIVE YEARS of reserve. Diminishing lines month after month. Five of seven domiciles closed. Which one is next? ... Loss of a hundred airplanes.... A combative, incompetent, abusive and adversarial scheduling department that willfully violates the contract on a daily basis while laughing about it to our faces and is openly hostile to pilots. Call the chief pilot and all he'll say is "fly and grieve it, biatch!" Missed Assignments (and loss of a day's pay) given out left and right when you don't even miss an assignment. It takes MONTHS to get it removed since Wilson has cut the balls of the chief pilots who have been told not to remove a MA.

It goes on and on. This place is a mismanaged, miserable **** hole of a company and anyone would be far better off anywhere else. STAY AWAY!!!! AVOID ENVOY!!!! Come here and you will be used, abused and beaten down like a rabid dog.

As a senior CA, it has been some time since I sat reserve. That being said, the rules now and the treatment are much better than they once were. What are you comparing your experience here against? Our reserve rules are quite a bit better than some. Theines have diminished because our attrition has slowed a little and management also ended CDOs because some were abusing the rules on it.

I certainly won't disagree that the days of American Eagle being the big guy in the block, the only regional for American Airlines, is over. The resultant shrinking and pains that go along with it are it pleasant. However, that is almost over. With 40 new 175s coming, the pain will slowly go away. You also forget to mention we do have a flow that has accounted for over 60% of all new hire classes at AA in the last 2 years.

What is your position at envoy? I think I could guess but I don't want to be presumptuous.

The problem with "Meatball" is that he is pushing 60 and probably won't be flowing to AA...meaning the Regionals is his last stop. And there's nothing wrong with that, but it has made him very VERY bitter and angry.

Throw in a few personal issues here and there and the result is this unhinged individual known as "meatball". Funny how I know Captains from his upgrade class who couldn't be happier. I know one who bids Reserve to sit at home a few extra days. It's all about perspective.

This is as much spin as anything. To say with certainty, that every present Envoy pilot will be at AA who wants to be within 5 years is patently absurd.

Yes, if you question the katzenjammer kids spin and sales, you automatically gain A LOT of weight.

If we get 15 new hires average per month, then yes, the math supports it. I don't anyone can be absolutely certain about ANYTHING in this industry. That is kind of a given.

15 new hires is not absurd in any way.
