Depends if you're fresh out of college or have 1,000 part 121 time already. If you aren't prior 121 then the fast upgrade isn't a fast upgrade.

Then, I'd say the single biggest QOL improvement is living in base. I personally wouldn't relocate for a regional job. Bases open and close too often. I would only consider a wholly owned. PSA PDT ENY PCL
PCL (Endeavor) has the highest starting pay (including bonus money) at $43k.

Really, it comes down to what your priorities and goals are. Each has something slightly different than the other to offer.

Over 80% of the posts in this thread are made by people who don't work at Envoy. So no, you are not very likely to get any kind of useful information from just reading through page after page.

Shoot me or any other actual Envoy employee a PM and we can answer any questions you may have.
Drop the dog s*#t you moron. You've called me trash, told me to shoot myself, all kinds of idiotic garbage. Hate to break it to you, but that makes you no better yourself chief! I don't take anything here seriously because none of it IS serious.

Looks like you're the one who needs help...

So is the company already crawfishing on the flow numbers. I read earlier where none went recently. Was just wondering if this was gonna be a monthly thing or ? I thought they "had" to flow as long as mainline aa was hiring. If so, that's gonnq skew the 2.5 year upgrade/6 years to aa thing they are advertising. I know the "flow thru" didn't work out too well for the guys that fell on the spear for the first 16 year contract. Took them for over a decade. Granted 9-11 and the age 65 bubble certainly hurt.

We all know this regional model is bankrupt. Nothing more than a "c" scale of which Robert Crandall would have been proud. The writing is on the wall. New guys aren't faling for it anymore. I'd say with all the looming retirements--guys won't have to suffer like those from the 90's. Let's all hope so.

If you can say that and still want to come here, all I can say is

Good luck!

Yes, I most certainly have read that. Lots of highly qualified people are watching from the sidelines at this debacle. The first 16 year contract was done to eliminate the 4 separate eagle and man them al 1. now they pulled an end run around the whole dam thing and are playing the same shell game--only with differnt players.

It's a "fraudulent conveyance". Same game Lorenzo played between continental and Eastern. And it's a dam shame. But I do think that they have kicked the old dog too hard. Next 15 months should be interesting.

I got popcorn!

Currently, the schedules are by far the worst I've seen in years. Reserve is downright atrocious. I wouldn't recommend anyone come here until management decides to do something about these two major issues.

It's a tough decision. All the regionals are horrible to their employees except for the Sr. ones. One good thing about Eagle though is the travel benefits. If you want to (and have the financial means to) see the world, than this is a decent place to be. A lot of regionals have sh!tty at best travel benefits

I think any aspiring pilot who places off-duty travel as a significant priority in ranking attributes during their (hopefully) short time at the regional level has their priorities out of whack.

That's scary...
So it's scary because he has no CRJ time? Please. Major airlines upgrade FOs to CA on equipment they've never flown on a daily basis.

So does Skywest, Mesa, Eagle....Anyone operating multiple fleet types. It's an airplane. Probably way more forgiving than his last aircraft.
