Envoy Information

Then, I'd say the single biggest QOL improvement is living in base. I personally wouldn't relocate for a regional job. Bases open and close too often. I would only consider a wholly owned. PSA PDT ENY PCL
PCL (Endeavor) has the highest starting pay (including bonus money) at $43k.
Really, it comes down to what your priorities and goals are. Each has something slightly different than the other to offer.

Jt8d is an established idiot. Don't pay him any attention.
Over 80% of the posts in this thread are made by people who don't work at Envoy. So no, you are not very likely to get any kind of useful information from just reading through page after page.
Shoot me or any other actual Envoy employee a PM and we can answer any questions you may have.

Looks like you're the one who needs help...

Depends if you're fresh out of college or have 1,000 part 121 time already. If you aren't prior 121 then the fast upgrade isn't a fast upgrade.

We all know this regional model is bankrupt. Nothing more than a "c" scale of which Robert Crandall would have been proud. The writing is on the wall. New guys aren't faling for it anymore. I'd say with all the looming retirements--guys won't have to suffer like those from the 90's. Let's all hope so.

Did you not read the part where 5 of the 7 bases have been closed in recent years, pilots have been squeezed to take multiple rounds of concessions, pay discrepancies are rampant, FO's who have been on property now for over 3 years are still on reserve due to no relative movement, line values are averaging in the high 60's despite the same amount of time away from base as when they averaged in the mid 80's, they're giving airplanes away to competing carriers, and envoy consistently has the poorest on time performance of any carrier in the industry?
It's a "fraudulent conveyance". Same game Lorenzo played between continental and Eastern. And it's a dam shame. But I do think that they have kicked the old dog too hard. Next 15 months should be interesting.
I got popcorn!

It's a tough decision. All the regionals are horrible to their employees except for the Sr. ones. One good thing about Eagle though is the travel benefits. If you want to (and have the financial means to) see the world, than this is a decent place to be. A lot of regionals have sh!tty at best travel benefits

So does Skywest, Mesa, Eagle....Anyone operating multiple fleet types. It's an airplane. Probably way more forgiving than his last aircraft.
