Crow can be delicious...........if prepared correctly.

Just to be clear, sudden announcements are NOT results as much as you want them to be (and think they are like your commuting changes for example). Sure, it's likely CRJ deliveries will slow to PSA, but will that or anything else in the next 2 weeks translate into 270 upgrades at Envoy this year and attracting 50 pilots per month from here on out ?

That's going to have to be one hell of a crow recipe, my friend and that meal won't be served on an announcement, but on RESULTS.

BTW, I don't eat premature, undercooked crow.

I disagree with this assessment. Identities may go, but regional pilots are in too short a supply to just get rid of, especially with market share to protect that's getting harder and harder to do.

Envoy can't survive as a shrunk airline and the high labor cost structure of the 300 who aren't moving on.

It's not that they CAN'T survive, it's that Parker doesn't NEED to continue that, so it's an easy choice to solve it. Same result in a way, but there are many way to skin that cat and a simple shut-down would be the least strategic and the most disruptive.

There is a better way.

I'm one of the toothless losers who flowed years ago because I couldn't get hired anywhere else (pick your reason).

Hey, I simply hate watching history repeat itself to the detriment of pilots and believe not just the good should be considered, but the bad and ugly as well. The good news is that most Envoy pilots shouldn't have to wait over a decade to flow like me, but until dependable facts emerge that are worthy of counting on, one shouldn't be led down the primrose path of promises and assumptions and so far, that's all that has occurred here.

Several spinmeisters have gone overboard (one in particular) and I think anyone listening to this Masonistic drivel needs to pull back a bit.

Sorry it took you so long to flow.

Do you dispute that since the flow restarted in 2010, it HAS worked exactly as they said it would. Actually, it's worked better than promised, and we sent 66% instead of 50% recently.

do you dispute that?

The relationship with management is disfunctional and you will be regularly disappointed by there actions. From what I hear, other airlines are suffering from similar disfunction, including the Majors. If you bring good vibes to the cockpit you will get good vibes from your coworkers. Always paid on time, occasionally shorted but corrected (I have heard of others having bigger discrepancies with pay). Reserve sucks. Right now it is long(3ish yrs) but this should become shorter as we "right size."

3 years? I fly with CRJ FO's that were hired Nov 2013 and have been line holders since last summer. They spent about 4-5 months on reserve. Every base/seat varies but 3 years is not accurate.

I realize it's probably hard to keep up with all of the people you irritate.
It's in the post that is two above the post you quoted, he (or she) is Tsuda. Do you see how I got that? My post that you quoted is #303, your post was #301. In your post you quoted a user with the name of Tsuda. See how simple that is?

I included my math below in case you didn't understand how I came up with 2.

303-301=2

Let me know if I can help you with anything else
