I said recently the music would be slowing down over there. It's looking like it's going to happen even sooner than I thought. I'd expect an announcement within a few weeks or so.
No, you didn't mention it. Tell us some more.

Why are you so wrapped on this kiddo? Does it somehow validate something for you? Yes, the most current guy flowing is a 99 hire.

How does that answer where a new hire would flow? The flow just started 17 months ago and we have sent how many pilots already? 50% of every AA new hire class. How many has PSA sent?

I see, so the answer is pilots hired 16 years ago, in the last decade, 1999, are finally flowing. Thank you.

I'm going to lunch now, we can pick up later where we left off.

ever heard the old saying to never count hulls until they're on your ramp? An announcement of plane transfers made in the middle of hostile negotiations is called positioning. You CAN expect some revised transfer numbers and for them to be over a much longer time period to be public soon.
The 140s are still getting parked. Exressjet and TSA are currently or about to get 145s from Envoy. That's close to 60 airplanes right there not including what's going to Piedmont and PSA. It's not good for Envoy, not matter what way you try on spin. Even with 175s coming, there will still be a net loss of airframes. Additionally, Envoy can't hire anyone expect a few here and there.

The flow restarted in 2010. The 824 started 17 months ago, and we've sent over 340 guys in 17 months. PSA would take almost 7 years to send what we did in 17 months.

Facts hurt sometimes. People make poor decisions sometimes. All you can do is provide the best most accurate information you can, and let them decide for themselves.

big difference between can't hire; and won't hire. Unlike you, we hire American Airlines pilots. Our pilots have already interviewed and are just awaiting their class dates. We are selective about who wears our uniform, because we just fill out paperwork and report for class at AA. Enjoy your interview. We get 50% of every new hire class. Nobody else has that.

you may expect some fleet announcements within the next few weeks if not sooner. Oh, did I mention you'll be parking some planes over at PSA?

anything is possible. Unless they find the fountain of youth I don't see the retirements stopping.
